Here’s one outfit post for a change, and together with it my modest stylistic paragraph. This time I put on this black and white combo, which never gets old.
I’ve mentioned here before how much I enjoy combining elegant and sporty pieces. Like a blazer and a hoodie. Or a coat and sneakers. Or a woolen hat and worker boots. Although these aren’t exactly worker boots. The photos were made in collaboration with Ecco, so the main focus was on the shoes and the shopper.
But back to that combination of elegant and sporty pieces. It’s not that simple, because it’s not like you can combine anything sporty with anything elegant. In many cases it’s a disaster. So what can’t be combined with elegant pieces? Softshell & other outdoor jackets, running shoes, sporty backpacks, gym leggings. Simply these are things that have nothing to do with fashion and are intended for other uses – in this case, sport.
