Hey guysss!
So, I always thought, that functional clothes have nothing in common with fashion. Well, in 99% of cases it’s true, which is proved by thousands of Czechs, hanging out in the streets in the ski-jackets and trekking boots, of which couldn’t be ashamed any hiker going up Mt Blanc. The rule “nicely dressed person = he/she is cold”, “badly dressed person = he/she is warm” is not true anymore. Today, a lot of brands, making functional clothes, finally pay attention to design. The proof of all this is this gore-tex parka by Peak Performance. Even though it’s thin as a cotton t-shirt, I wasn’t cold at all. I guess you are thinking that it’s a nonsense, however if you don’t believe it, go to one of their stores and check it out!:)
Another great example are the Timberlands. I got these via brands24.cz and I have to admit, that they’re the warmest shoes I have. I always wear them for the shooting of my show, during which we stand outside for hours and these are the only shoes that don’t make me frostbites haha:) I’m heading to the Alps on Friday to test the Sorels, which is another candidate for the warmest shoes ever, so we’ll see:)
I have to admit, it’s quite difficult to find something warm and stylish at the same time, but it’s not impossible!:)
And what about you guys? Do you agree with me or you think that functionality and fashion are two totally different tems? :))
Love,
E.
