Hey travellers!
I prepared the second part of our traveling journal, which is about POMPEII.
On the 24th of August 79 AD this city was destroyed by a Mount Vesuvius eruption and it has become a sought-after turistic sight ever since. You can take the train from Naples and be here in about an hour or so. There was a line at the entrance so it took us almost 30 minutes to get in, but once we got in, all the people spread across the gigantic place so there were places where we found ourselves all alone. It took 5 hours to explore the entire area and we even got lost couple times. Except for the empty alleys burnt down by the fire there were also many petrified bodies which was quite morbid. It was an unforgettable experience and it sent shivers down my spine. But it is certainly worth it and I recommend it to everyone!
You can even climb to the top of Mount Vesuvius from here but we did not have that much time because we had to get back to Naples.
I hope you will enjoy the photos!:))
