Hey!
We spent the whole day yesterday in Málaga, a city, that reminded us of our dream San Diego too much. What else you can wish apart from beach five minutes from your apartment, palms exotic parks everywhere, sunny days 365 days a year and perfect temperature.
We started the day with a great breakfast in renowned café called Casa Aranda, where they serve the best churros & hot chocolate in town. After breakfast, we ran into a local market full of seafood, fruit, vegetables and meat. Then we walked through one of the parks right to the promenade, where we spent a lot of time underneath the “palm of surprises”. This huge white sculpture perfectly completes the port. Also we found our favorite Dunkin Donuts here, so we had another “healthy” snack. In the afternoon, we joined our friends, who were already at the beach and chilled there for a while. The water was too cold for swimming, but the beach was a perfect place for relaxing after several hours of walking around the city.
Then we got on the road again and headed to Marbella, which is said to be the Spanish version of Monte Carlo. It’s about an hour away from Málaga so we left our stuff at the house and went straight to find some nice place to eat an early dinner that we wanted to really enjoy because it was Vojta’s birthday so I wanted him to feel spoiled for once as well:)) We found a cozy restaurant (which was not easy since there were just bars everywhere!) and had some local favorites on a pretty chilly night.
Tomorrow we leave for Ronda, Casares and Gibraltar so we have lot of activities planned again!:))
Love, E.
