Northern Czech republic. My birthplace. That’s the reason why this area is my favorite. I’ve been to a lot of these places as a little kid, so it’s kind of interesting to visit them again, after like 15 years.
Ploučnice river is one of these places.
Ploučnice is a magical river that can be run down on a canoe. And if you go on this adventure, you’ll also pass through this natural tunnel. I’ve never taken a canoe myself, but I’m sure it’s a hell of an experience.
The parking lot is about 250 meters, so it’s not a long walk at all. There is also a path to the hillside right by the tunnel, and then you can observe the tunnel from above. And the best time to visit? Definitely fall! 🙂
