Hey fellow travellers!:)
Many of you probably know that I just got back from another trip, YAY! This time I was acompanied by my two best friends from high school – Magda and Simon – and we flew to England for a week, just the three of us. We bought the tickets from Wizzair so they were really cheap.
We spent the first two days in the lovely (and my favorite) London – I always love to come back for a visit. There we met two of our friends whom we visited all the most famous landmarks with. We did some shopping as well (duh, it’s London!) and also visited some great restaurants where had some very lovely meals. My favorite was Wagamama – asian food which was definitely one of the best. Borough Market was visited as well, we just could not forget about this amazing place packed with fruits, vegetables, sweets, sea food, meat and so on.
Shopping-wise I am all for the famous Oxford Streetwhere I found some great new pieces for my wardrobe!:) Plus they were aready setting up the Christmas decorations so it was all very nice, almost magical:)
While we were in London my crazy/amazing friends helped me to shoot the photos for my Bershkacollaboration which will be online on their blog on the 19th of November. I can’t wait to see it and hope you guys will like it!!!
I also met with Natalka for the first time and we got some stuff for her #meettheblogger project where she partners up with other bloggers and you can find it on her blog! I have to say that I haven’t met a women this amazing for quite some time. I can’t wait to meet up again!! <3
We also spent some quality time in the local pubs where we had to try some local cider. I just didn’t know the bars are so expensive!!! It was like buying another three plane tickets that night! 😀 Just don’t think I drank that much! It just really was expensive!
After these two great days in London we rented a car (it was very, very small! :D) and left some more adventures up north. More specifically Peak District. Peak District is a national park not very far from London. The hills seem to be coated with green moss. The only thing ruining the experience was the brutally strong wind. We got out of the car anyways and did some „hiking“to the Park House Hill and the Chrome Hill. It is almost a tradition now that I will come up with a video from the trip and you will be able to see us almost flying from all the wind which made even walking difficult. I just hope it will not look like all we did was drink while travelling 😀 You will see and judge then!:)
The last stop in England was the city of Manchester. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time to explore it well since we had to leave quite early in the morning. The next on the list was Scotland, but about that I will write in the next part of the diary so you don’t get bored with me. Hopefully it will be up online tomorrow, so you don’t have to wait too long!:)
Do you have any great memories from visiting England? Have you been to these places? Let me know, I want to hear it all!:))
Love, E.
